Paolo De Gruttis (in religious life, Fortunato Maria di San Paolo) was a professed priest of the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ.
For almost thirty-seven years he was dedicated to the sensitive and mysterious ministry of spiritual direction. He was a requested and venerated confessor and a minister of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. He was a source of light and reassurance and a transparent and gentle icon of the Fatherhood of God. He was a precious and inexhaustible instrument of his mercy.
He was declared Venerable in 1992.
