Giacomo Bruni (in religious life, Giovanni dello Spirito Santo) was a professed priest of the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ.

He was a young man of outstanding purity; his soul emanated clear light. He was extraordinarily committed to seeking the way of perfection.

He was very dedicated to prayer and spiritual recollection. He was very fond of solitude. He was very affable and known for his fraternal charity. He lovingly accepted various forms of mortification. He was especially admired for his humility and love of God.

He was declared Venerable in 1983.
