Servant of God THEODORE FOLEY

Daniel Foley (in religious life, Theodore of Mary Immaculate) was a professed priest of the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ.

He taught philosophy and theology at the Passionist Seminary in Union City, New Jersey (USA). In 1964 he was elected Superior General. In 2008, in Rome, the diocesan Inquiry for his beatification began.

In 2009, Bishop Timothy A. McDonnell, present at Sacred Heart Church (Springfield, MA, USA) at a ceremony in honor of Fr. Theodore, said– “There is holiness and then there are the superheroes of holiness; many people have acknowledged that he was a superhero of holiness.”
