On the evening of Friday, January 9th, the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ
experienced a moment of profound renewal and hope. At 6:00 PM, the official opening of
the Interprovincial Passionist Novitiate of the Mother of Holy Hope Configuration
was celebrated at the Cristo Libertador Community in São Luís de Montes Belos (GO).

A Celebration of Unity and Vocation
The Holy Mass was presided over by Dom José Roberto dos Reis, CP,
and featured the notable presence of various religious members of the congregation.
Among the principal concelebrants were the Provincial Superiors: Fr. Edilberto Lins,CP (Gethsemane Province) and
Fr. Henrique Evangelista, CP (Exaltation of the Holy Cross Province), symbolizing the unity of missionary fronts in Brazil.

The New Novices
During the canonical rite of admission, the five candidates were welcomed by the Novice Master, Fr. Ademir, CP,
the Vice-Master, Fr. Marcos Vinícius, CP, and the parish priest, Fr. Ribamar, CP. The young men entering this stage are:
From the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Province: Leílson, Gustavo, and Enzo.

From the Gethsemane Province: Anthony and Walberton.
The Novitiate is an essential stage in religious life, a time of greater retreat and deepening in the charism of the Passion,
aimed at the future profession of the vows of poverty, chastity, obedience,
and the specific vow to promote the Memory of the Passion.

Fellowship
After the ceremony, a spirit of joy and family filled the community.
A fellowship dinner brought together the religious and the new novices, celebrating the vitality of
Passionist vocations in Brazil and the commitment to keep alive the flame of the charism.
