On Saturday, August 15, Mons. José Manuel León and Mons. José Dionisio Gómez were ordained bishops and received the fullness of Holy Orders.
Holy Mass was celebrated at St. John Bosco Parish in the Venezuelan capital and was presided over by the Archbishop of Caracas, Mons. Raúl Biord.
The people of Caracas filled the church to take part in the solemn liturgy and to accompany this important moment for the Church in Caracas.
Through their episcopal ordination, Mons. José Manuel León and Mons. José Dionisio Gómez began their ministry as Auxiliary Bishops of Caracas,
serving alongside Mons. Carlos Márquez and collaborating with the Archbishop in the pastoral service of the local Church.
