On the afternoon of November 11, 2025, P. Ademir Guedes Azevedo
defended his doctoral thesis at the Pontifical Gregorian University,
entitled “Traditio compassio. A fundamental-theological study
of compassio in J. B. Metz (1928-2019) and the ‘Tradition of Jesus’ in J. Comblin (1923-2011)”,
receiving approval from the examining commission and obtaining the title of Doctor in Theology.
The Passionist community of the General House gathered
to accompany this important moment. P. Leudes, Provincial Delegate,
was present representing the entire Gethsemane Province.
