STIP Theologate in Roma: inauguration of the academic year 2011-2012

Last 3 November the Passionist
students of the STIP theologate community at Sts. John and Paul, Rome,
solemnly inaugurated the academic and formation year on the occasion of
the liturgical memorial of Blessed Pio Campidelli,
Passionist. Fr. Matteo Nonini (CORM), the new director of
students, together with Fr. Ottaviano D’Egidio, Superior General of the
Congregation and Fr. Massimo Granieri (LAT), Vice director of Students
were the principal concelebrants.  


Also present for the Mass were the religious of the community of Sts.
John and Paul, as well as the graduate students and lay Brothers.


In
his homily, Fr. Matteo spoke about the finality of the Passionist
student theologate , i.e. to form Religious who are truly in love with
Jesus Crucified, as seen in the person of Bl. Pio Campidelli, in order
that their vocation to religious life and priesthood will continue to
grow and mature.
