THE SYNOD ASKS THE GENERAL COUNCIL TO INITIATE A GLOBAL PROCESS OF REFLEXION ON RESTRUCTURING OF THE PASSIONIST CONGREGATION

I. GROUPS FOR A DIALOGUE ON RESTRUCTURIG AT THE LAUNCHING STAGE

 

1. FUNDAMENTALS

 

-To secure that meetings and assemblies are inspired by the Passionist charism and Spirituality.

-To secure that they are inspired by the fraternal solidarity within the whole of the Congregation.

-Always seeking the Vitality and Passion of life an Mission in the world and the Church, today.

 

2. CRITERIA

 

-Groups that represent different Conferences.

-Groups that are international and multicultural.

-Groups that alternate Continental and Intercontinental representativity.

-Groups that represent the young members of the Congregation.

-Groups that facilitate the representativeness of laity.

 

3. CONCRETE SUGGESTIONS

 

-To secure some meetings/ assemblies of the Provincial from the following groups of Conferences:

-CII, CIPI and Conference of Nord Europe.

-CLAP and USA.

-PASPAC and CPA and others.

 -To secure meetings/ assemblies of the Provincial Councils and others within the same groups of Conferences.

 

II. AT THE NEXT GENERAL CHAPTER 2006

 

-To arrive with the Launching stage having been completed.

-To arrive with the Viability study having been completed.

-To arrive with concrete proposals for restructuring.
