THE SUMMARY OF ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONNAIRES CONCERNING THE RESTRUCTURING PROCESS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

The Restructuring Commission has read and examined all the replies received regarding the three questionnaires which were sent out, and has made a summary of these which, placed in a single fascicle, is being sent out to all our communities in order that they may be known, reflected upon and submitted to a fruitful dialogue. Those who will be attending the coming General Chapter next October in Rome should make a special effort to study them carefully and en-gage in an in-depth in dialogue with their communities and Provinces, so as to then share it all with their fellow members during the Chapter.

400 YEARS OF THE "SANTA MARIA DEI MONTI"

CHURCH AND CONVENT

On Sunday May 14, the "Santa Maria dei Monti" Church and Convent  will

celebrate 400 years of history. This property was acquired by the Passionist Naples Province in 1900.

XXX ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE DOL PASSIONIST PROVINCE

The assembly took place in Falvaterra (Italy) on May 2-3, 2006, with 30 participants. Among those attending were Fr. Provincial Antonio Rungi, local superiors, delegates of the communities, guests and observers. The principal topic was the Passionist formation and vocations to the religious life in a changing world.

During a concelebrated Eucharist at which the Provincial Superior, Fr. Antonio Rungi presided, a new portrait of Blessed Grimoaldo Santamaria was solemnly presented by the members of the Association of Ex-Passionist Students as a sign of their gratitude on the occasion of the 15th Anniversary of this organization. The following day, 2 May, the painting was displayed in the hall of the Passionist retreat of Falvaterra. It was blessed by the bishop of Palestrina, His Excellency Domenico Segalini, within the setting of the Provincial Assembly of the Passionists of Basso Lazio and Campania at which the General Consultor, Fr. Luigi Vaninetti presided.
