RESTORATION OF THE FOUNDER'S CELL AT SANT'ANGELO, VETRALLA

In the late afternoon of 18 September, 2008, the bishop of Viterbo, Bishop Lorenzo Chiarinelli, was the principal concelebrant at a Mass in our community of Vetralla on the feast of St. Paul of the Cross. Following the liturgy, he blessed the cell of our Holy Founder which had recently been restored as it was originally when St. Paul of the Cross lived there. For many years it was arranged as a chapel. In its restored state, one can now view the cabinets, ceiling beams, wooden planks used for a bed, two chairs, a simple cross and various other objects used by the Saint. MEETING  IN ROME OF THE ITALIAN NATIONAL COUNCIL

This took place on January 16- 18, 2009 at the Sts. John and Paul General House.

Attending were the spiritual directors of the Italian Provinces, the lay coordinators

and some representatives of the bigger groups of each Province. The topics of

the encounter were: Evaluation of the Province programs and Election of the new

National Council: Maria Rosa Fraccaro (CORM), National Coordinator, Mario

Magnatti (DOL), Vice-Coordinator and Paolo Benaducci (PIET), Treasurer.

SANG PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY 2008

The Provincial Assembly 2008 of the SANG Province, Spain,

took place on December 28-30 in the community of Las Presas (Cantabria).
 

The first day consisted of a meeting and reflection with the laity

from different communities. Together they reflected on

the subject of "Shared Mission."

On the 29th and 30th the religious continued the assembly

by studying Province Programs, the process of

Restructuring and the next Provincial Chapter.
