“PASSIONIST SOLIDARITY” is a non-profit association of the Passionist Congregation to assist its missionaries to carry out projects of evangelization and social development.
There are over 2,000 Passionists in the world who are present in 61 countries. Together with evangelization, we strive to ensure that all people live with human dignity.
Passionist Solidarity depends on the General Curia of the Passionists and serves all its missionaries. Its goal is to help all Passionists missionaries in their formation and in their efforts to accomplish their various projects.
We thank all our benefactors for the generous offerings we have received for overseas adoption in KENYA and TANZANIA.
After Mass in Mlowa (Tanzania), in line for food.
In Mlowa (Tanzania) the population is mainly devoted to sheep herding and agriculture. The reality is still very poor even if there has been significant progress.
Thanks to the intervention of the government the school and health situation has improved, but there still remain pockets of poverty. Additionally, the mission (where Fr. Bartolo Pirola (GEMM) ministers) helps with the excavation of wells, various aid project and through oversees child care programs.
Thanks to the help of the benefactors, at Christmas and Easter food is usually provided for the children.
The people are friendly and convey joy through their smiles, especially the children who immediately smile when they receive a gift of candy, which they then share with each other.
